Welcome to the Tukufu Ellen Foundation. Our mission is to create opportunities for less privileged children by providing education, support, and a safe environment. We believe that education is the foundation of a brighter future. Our goal is to provide access to quality education for bright, needy students from primary school through to college. By offering scholarships, school supplies, and other educational resources, we help these children overcome financial barriers and achieve academic success.
Many young girls in Kenya face the harsh reality of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and its traumatic consequences. Our foundation is dedicated to providing these girls with the emotional and psychological support they need to heal and grow. Through counseling and mentoring programs, we empower them to rebuild their lives and regain their confidence.
Early forced marriages and FGM deprive young girls of their right to education and a safe childhood. Our journey began with a small group of passionate individuals who were deeply moved by the plight of girls forced into FGM and early marriages.
